Faith Education
Welcome to Faith Education Services at the Catholic Education Office, Archdiocese of Hobart.
The role of the Faith Education Services Team is to:
- provide training and professional learning in the area of Religious Education (RE)
- its responsibility is to ensure that teachers of religious education gain and maintain their qualifications in RE
- supports a number of school-based initiatives for the implementation of the Curriculum Framework and the subsequent redevelopment of the learning and teaching materials
- the provision of resources
- the provision of relevant, rich learning experiences for students and educators in RE and leadership
- produces and implements the highly successful program Making Jesus Real
- provides support to the Archdiocesan Sacramental Policy through the work of Family Ministry and maintains a variety of resources used across the Archdiocese for pastoral initiatives.
